The W.H.E.A.T. Family of Parishes offers faith formation for children and youth who attend public or private (non-parochial) schools and whose families are registered parishioners within any of our participating parishes.
We offer a variety of formation pathways to support the faith journey of every family:
All Catholic children within our parishes are invited and expected to actively participate in formation appropriate to their age and stage of faith development.
Faith formation is not simply preparation for sacraments—it is an ongoing process of growing in relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. The sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation are celebrated as integral moments within a broader journey of faith. Each year of formation builds upon the last, helping children and youth grow into mature, committed disciples.
Our goal is to foster a loving, supportive, and Christ-centered environment where children and teens are nurtured in the Catholic faith, encouraged to live out Gospel values, and empowered to become future leaders of the Church.
Inspired by Mary, who first proclaimed the Good News, we joyfully announce “God with us” in Jesus Christ. United as the W.H.E.A.T. Family of Parishes, we strive to build a vibrant faith community rooted in love, hope, prayer, hospitality, and service. Guided by the Holy Spirit, we accompany families on their journey of discipleship—helping all to discover, live, and share the life of Christ.
We envision a future where every family is growing in faith together, supported by a community that values:
Our faith formation programs serve as a foundation for lifelong discipleship, strengthened by community, prayer, and shared mission.
Faith is more than a class—it’s a way of life. We are called to witness Christ daily through our words and actions at home, at school, at work, and in the world. Families are encouraged to live their faith intentionally and joyfully.
Participation in the sacramental life of the Church—especially Sunday Mass and Holy Days of Obligation—is at the heart of our faith formation. Learning about our faith is most powerful when it is lived and celebrated in community, particularly at the altar of the Lord.
